PublicBI privacy policy has been compiled to serve users easily understand how their information is being used online. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our websites.
Users
Any person or company that uses any of the services provided by PublicBI are referred to as "PublicBI Users" hereinafter referred to as "Users" or "PublicBI users". You could be our customer, partner, supplier, website visitor or belong to any other one or more categories.
Services and Websites
PublicBI UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the Munich based BI Specialist company, owner of the website PublicBI.com, hereinafter referred to as "PublicBI", provides various solutions with a mission of "Improving lives with Business Intelligence" and Vision of "Empowering you with insights" by medium of one or more websites (also referred as sites or webpages), hereinafter referred to as "sites" or "PublicBI sites" or "websites" or "web pages" or "portal".
Personally Identifiable Information
Any information using which a person can be uniquely identified is referred to as personal identifiable information. Examples are email ID, phone number, passport number, national insurance number, any of the IDs provided by any authorities (government, non-government) that identifies a person, such as Skype ID, Facebook ID, LinkedIn ID, etc.
Bare Minimum Personal Info Policy
PublicBI strongly believes in its bare minimum personal info policy. I.e. collect only as minimum personal information as required to provide a service to its users and nothing more should be collected, stored, shared or processed. On a regular basis (once every year) proactively go through the collected records to find out records of people who are no longer users of the services or find out records of people that are no longer relevant as users, and then proactively delete the corresponding personal information part of the record that has been captured earlier. In the instance of a country's regulation permitting more personal information to be collected than what is required for PublicBI to provide its services, PublicBI will capture only bare minimum personal info that is required to provide its services to the user. Only if there is a legal/compliance requirement or a mandate in a country to collect certain personal information, will PublicBI capture more personal information than it requires to provide a service to its users. If you do not use any of our services that require personal information or are just a site visitor then we don't automatically capture any of the personal information, except for the details collected as part of the cookies.
PublicBI takes great care to ensure that only bare minimum personal information is collected from the users of the services provided by PublicBI. The bare minimum personal information collected is to enable PublicBI to provide its services smoothly to you (users of PublicBI services). PublicBI will constantly find ways to minimize personal data captured.
PublicBI does not by default share personal information with third parties. Only in instances, where there is a business/operational requirement and consent from the users, PublicBI shares personal information with third parties.
PublicBI does not identify users of the websites. The sites use cookies, though. That is because we use Google Analytics, a popular web analytics service which uses cookies to help us to count the number of people that visit our sites and to analyse how they use it (e.g. we can determine which pages on our site are the most popular ones). The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Yes, we use cookies. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if you permit) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We use cookies to understand and save user's preferences for future visits. We may also use trusted third party services that track this information on our behalf. Data and Information Protection
PublicBI does not own any servers. PublicBI uses cloud-only approach. PublicBI uses cloud services, for hosting its websites and for executing projects like Public Data Warehouse, from highly reputed cloud service providers like AWS ( Amazon Web Services) and Google Cloud Services. This approach ensures that there are no data or information lying around in our own servers. These companies are highly regarded for the kind of data protection their cloud offerings provide.
Access to Personal Information
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of authorized persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit card information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. All payments are handled by third parties. We are only users of the services provided by the third parties.
Third Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice and get your consent. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Web Analytics
We along with third-party vendors, such as Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions, and other ad service functions as they relate to our website. We do not have our own web analytics tool. We depend fully on the services like Google Analytics to understand our site visitor statistics.

Email Address
We collect your email address in order to:

Usernames, Login names, Passwords and PINs
We never ask you to provide your PINs or passwords of third party sites to us. Please pay attention before you provide us some information to ensure that you don't send us any of these sensitive information. Those users who are members of PublicBI have been provided access to restricted areas of the sites which they can access only by providing a username/login name and password. These usernames and passwords are managed by respective cloud web/blog hosting service providers and we do not have access to the usernames and passwords. Members of PublicBI are required to keep their password safe and secure and it is not intended for sharing with anyone else. In the event of someone else getting access to your account by breaking into your computer or by getting your credentials outside the control of PublicBI then we request you to inform us about the incident at the earliest so that we can take necessary steps to reduce the damage. In the event of us getting to know about a impersonation before you do we will take every measure to quickly block the account and inform you via email or any other channels possible.
