PublicBI UG is an entrepreneurial company based in Munich, Germany. It was founded in 2017 by Anoop Kumar V K - a highly passionate Business Intelligence professional with over 35K hours of experience in BI.
PublicBI was founded with a vision to empower public with information and insights and with a mission to improve lives with business intelligence. Starting from July 2017 various services such as PublicBI ORBIT, PublicBI BIKON, PublicBI EBIT, etc were started by PublicBI to raise funds for the Public Data Warehouse project.
In July 2018, PublicBI was selected as one of the finalist in EU Datathon 2018, organized by the Publication Office of the European Union, and then PublicBI went on to win the 2nd prize at the EU Datathon 2018 finals held at Brussels, Belgium on 2nd October, 2018. After that PublicBI was invited to international conferences and meetings to present the PublicBI EUProc solution.
In 2019 PublicBI was not active other than presenting the EUProc solution in the EUDataViz 2019, Luxembourg. Currently PublicBI is working on enhancing the solutions and building new solutions to improve businesses.

PublicBI receiving award at the Digital Transformation of Public Procurement Conference, Lisbon on 18th October, 2018 from Ms. Leitão Marques, Portuguese Minister of the Presidency and of Administrative Modernization and Ms. Irmfried Schwimann, Deputy Director-General DG GROW, European Commission.
PublicBI presenting at the EU Datathon 2018, Brussels conducted by the Publication Office of the European Union. PublicBI was highly appreciated for the efforts and the presented solution by not only the jury but also by all the participants and audience, and it was awarded second prize in the Public Procurement category challenge.
Anoop Kumar V K presented on the topic of before and beyond data visualization at EU DataViz 2019 on the 12th of November, 2019. In the second half of the presentation PublicBI's EUProc solution was used as an example to showcase why we should look beyond data visualization. In the first half of the presentation Individual Business Intelligence was used as an example to showcase what should be done before data visualization.
